- A massive 5 year replacement warranty is offered on any mechanical or tank failure
- The Enviroheat hot water heater is a 100% Australian owned company
- Produced by the world’s largest appliance manufacturer
- Save up to 71% in your hot water running costs
Produced by the world’s largest appliance manufacturer, the Haier, General Electric, Fisher and Paykel brands, this heat pump hot water system was initially introduced into Europe over a decade ago and has proven a great reliable performer, even in temperatures as low as -7°C. When you bring that to our warmer environment the efficiency and heating recovery time ability increases dramatically.
It offers the best performance of any system in its class with up to a massive 71% saving in energy when compared to a conventional electric and LPG gas water heaters
A Boost feature is also added for rapid heating when you have extra people in your home, so you will never go without hot water
The ENVIROHEAT system has undergone rigorous testing and has been certified by the Australian Government Clean Energy Regulator and attracts a higher STC rating than most other brands of heat pumps in the Australian hot water market
All ENVIROHEAT hot water tanks are also protected by not 1, but 2 sacrificial anodes for a longer storage tank life
The ENVIROHEAT Heat Pump range has an advanced control system that is feature packed and above all, easy to use. It can be programmed to maximize the use of rooftop solar power systems whilst not compromising a plentiful supply of steaming hot water when you need it. The automatic sanitisation feature ensures that your family is safe from legionella and other water borne bacteria.
The combination of whisper quiet operation, smart controls, superior UV protection and generous government rebates makes ENVIROHEAT the natural choice for an energy efficient home.

How Heat Pumps Work
- 1kW electricity required for 4kW of heat
- 3kW of FREE heat from air

To understand the concept of how an Envirheat heat pump works, imagine your refrigerator working in reverse. While a refrigerator removes heat from within the closed box and expels that heat to the surrounding air, a Heat Pump takes the heat from surrounding air and transfers it to water in an enclosed tank.
Enviroheat heat pump technology makes the efficient use of heat in the surrounding air, even at temperatures as low as -7C. In fact the Enviroheat heat pump hot water system is so efficient that it can convert 1kW of electricity into over 4kW of heat.
The fan draws in the air containing heat energy, across an evaporator
The evaporator turns the liquid refrigerant into gas
The Enviroheat compressor pressurises the refrigerant liquid into hot gas
The hot gas inside the condenser coil heats the water inside the tank
The refrigerant reverts back to a liquid after expansion & continues back to the evaporator for the process to start all over again

Check out some of the comparisons here on different heat pump hot water heater brands and the Australian Government tested and allocated STC rating, the STC is a rated saving that a hot water system has been granted after testing and approved by the Australian Clean Energy Regulator, the number of STC’s that are issued refers to one megawatt hour (1 MWh) of avoided energy consumption over the heat pump hot water system’s deemed life expectancy
S = R – T where: S: STC count R: Reference conventional system’s energy consumption (MWh over ten years) T: Tested system’s estimated energy consumption (MWh over ten years)
The graph here shows savings and STC ratings assigned to Enviroheat and some other brands and the approximate percentage of power saving compared to a conventional electric water heater in zone 3
